Collaboration with a Hydraulic Pump Manufacturer in China

In early May 2019, we were introduced to the procurement manager of a hydraulic pump manufacturer in Jiangsu Province through industry connections. The company had a long-term need for hydraulic pump bearings and had been exclusively using imported bearings without any prior collaboration with domestic bearing manufacturers.

Upon learning this information, we initiated contact with them via phone. The manager expressed hesitancy towards working with domestic bearing manufacturers, as they already had established partnerships with overseas suppliers and were unfamiliar with domestic options. It was only after our sales team introduced some top cases in the hydraulic pump industry and provided product brochures that they agreed to meet in person.

Through our visit, we learned that the client primarily manufactured two models of hydraulic pumps: A7V160 and A7V107. We introduced ourselves as suppliers to several leading hydraulic pump enterprises, providing them with 7314BTN/P5 DT and 7311BTN/P5 DT bearings. The client immediately recognized these bearing models as what they needed.

Due to the high precision required in the machining and pairing processes of these angular contact bearings, the client was understandably cautious. They doubted whether a domestic bearing manufacturer like us could meet their requirements for low-speed, heavy-load, and paired usage.

After two rounds of technical exchanges, the client agreed to sample our products. Following six months of testing and usage, they affirmed that our hydraulic pump bearings fully met their performance requirements and were offered at a lower price. This fostered trust in our company, and they acknowledged our manufacturing processes among domestic bearing manufacturers. Consequently, they initiated long-term cooperation with us.
